Exporting the charts to excel

 Is there a way to export the charts in tempo report to excel or word ?

Web page print to PDF usually works best for exporting graphical reports. 
 There are other options for exporting grid data to excel refer to this shared component, Excel Tools

Yes we have implemented charts with a similar approach based on 
 
1. Excel base template with Piechart 
2. Sheet 2 with 0 values defaulted 
2. Sheet 1 with Pie chart based on sheet 2 values. 
 
Once we export the data to excel in sheet 2, the Pie chart from template would automatically fill with the numbers exported.
