Add column in Task report

I generated a task report with tasks lisiting in grid with status, assignedTo,Task name, Initiated Time, deadline, priority and overdue. Now i have one more task to

'Provide a column with indicator(upward/downward arrow mark) with a capability of raising/lowering the priority of the task.'

As per my understanding i have added moveUp and moveDown indicator in the report, So when i click moveUp or moveDown, do we need to change the priority of task ? If so, how can we achieve it ? Can anyone guide me how to achieve it ?
