After reading from documentations for possible mistakes, following is already done:
1) Added the user group to the concerned process model's security as viewer from which task getting generated.
2) The user is able to see the task in "Assigned Tasks".
3) we are able to see in the edit mode of the report that task is picked for the report.
4) process model is added in report's context.
but we are not able to see in the tempo task report.
Any pointer would be appreciated.

To anyone who came here for the same Q, which I also had, in my case, this Junior that brought this problem to me gave me a headache.While trying to find the issue, I compared it with other working processes, I found 1 tiny Icon visible on the node while the working one didn't, so I checked the properties and there u go... it was a quick task, it was for something to be used with tempo or whatever, its also used to hide tasks, ticking it away fixed the issue.
