Can I use type!LinkField inside a type!Grid?

Can I use type!LinkField inside a type!Grid. When I have the code outside of type!Grid, the same script works fine. But when placed in side type!Grid, I see no link at all in the Grid. I need this link to be displayed inside a Grid for the user to click on it and navigate to the specific record. Please help
