I have a Process Model that assigns a User Input Task. The process model properties and all the nodes are setup in both English(US) & English(GB) with the Primary Language in the Internationalization section of the admin console set to English(GB).
I then changed the Primary Language to English(US) and the tasks lose their name and become '???'. I went into the process instance and attempted to restart the node but this just duplicated the task with the name '???'.
Is there a way to ensure a task retains its original name or to update these tasks after the change has been made?
Thanks,

Hi Oliver -
I experimented with this and was able to observe the task name changing at run time in accordance with the settings configured in the process model.
I didn't see a series if question marks as you described.
To the best of my knowledge, Appian will display task names in the default language if no names are provided in a secondary language.
You might want to open a support case on this.
Cheers,
Rob
You have to update the properties in the Task node though - Oliver I'm not sure if you already tried that (since you didn't mention it in the post). To update these properties, you can select a different language in the general tab and change the "Task Display Name".
Once you change this, the task should show correctly without the question marks.
Hi Oliver,
There is also a smart node 'Change Model Locale' provided by Appian.
You can use that node to change the locale for all your process models and instances. This would solve your issue and shall retain original names.
