I am facing Issue while accessing the task.
Task is getting assigned to Main Group A which contains a Sub-Group B inside it, and user is added to the group B.
When user is trying to access the task from the task report via task link, he is getting error that Task is assigned to someone else.
Kindly suggest.

Can you provide a little more details?
What does the status and assignee fields show in the task report?And is sub-group b a member of group A or a child?
Status is coming as assigned And Assignee field is Group A.
I have one technical group of process model initiator where i have added business group B, and user is part of business group B.

Also, there is no chaining leading up to the task, correct?
i created group A and then Group B,
Then I have Added Group B as Member of Group A.
Based on that screen capture, I would expect to see the person in group B listed and member type be indirect. It doesn't look like they are in the group. Can you check?

Now Task is assigned to MSG Process Initiator, and user: Gaurav Singh have to access it with task link
Hi @gauravs0008,
You had configured Process Initiator as a parent of Msg Maker, hence its displaying as direct member type.
Add that group as a member, it should work.

I have added Msg Maker by using Add Member in Process Initiator group.
yep, got it.
So in the process model task is getting assigned to Process initiator group.
And i have created the task report on the process model.
Now when user is click on the task link he is not able to open the task.
Normally he should get the option to accept the task since its assigned to group of which he is part of
