Do we have any functionality with tempo reports to open the hyperlink in another tab of browser?

In case of no alternative, I would request an enhancement please.

This depends on the browser in use; if you use Firefox/Chrome, you would see the link opening in a new tab

Actual Outcome :
I have created a grid column on which I used a!recordLink functionality to create a link. By clicking on that column, it opens the record link on that same tab so I am loosing my grid view.

Expected Outcome:
It will be really useful if the link opens in a separate tab. I have tried this on Chrome (latest version) and IE 8.

Yes it is an expected outcome wherein if you use a!recordLink it will open the record dashboard on the same tab.

However, if you want to open this is in a new window, make use of urlforrecord() function, that will open your record in a new window.

PS: urlforrecord () is not supported on Android devices. Not sure about its behaviour on ios and blackberry platforms.
