Need to export the displayed report to excel

Question

Team, I have a portal report. i need to display it in the tempo screen by applying filters in the screen which i did using getportaldatasubset() rule. But i have a requirement where i need to export the displayed report to excel, i tried the same by using the rule!getdatasubsetdownloadlinkfromrule() but it doesn't work. Can you please suggest me the solution for this? Thanks, G.Manikandan

Hope you are showing all the report data in a grid, 1. Below this grid place a "Export to excel" button and submit the form. 2. Pass the data to Export CDT to excel plugin and connect back to the same form. Hope this helps!!

Mani, you can convert the resultant of the getportaldatasubset to datasubset and use the rule rule!getdatasubsetdownloadlinkfromrule() to generate the URI. If needed, please call me :)
