Example of adding a richTextItem in a gridTextColumn

Hi there. I am trying to add rich text to a grid on a tempo report in Appian16.2. Does anyone have an example of adding a richTextItem in a gridTextColumn?

@victord Afaik, Rich Text Field can't be used inside a!gridTextColumn(). Apart from the links (as listed for 'links' attribute at https://forum.appian.com/suite/help/16.2/SAIL_Components.html#TextColumn) you may not be able to apply any other formatting.

If you really want to make use of Rich Text, you may need to opt for Editable Grid but it lacks sorting and paging. Moreover with more columns and lots of formatting, both Editable Grid and Rich Text fields can make the interface render the contents slower.

can you provide the snippet of the code . It is possible to apply the formatting to the whole column .

Thanks for replying put I was able to figure this out! I had to use the apply() function within the data attribute for the gridTextColumn. We had a formatting function already available so this was easy to do.
