How to define the value of a Rule input inside a tempo report

Good afternoon,

In the previous version of Appian, 7.11 exactly, we can define an ri inside a report interfaces and declare prior the value of the ri from the report tab. This is very useful because we use this ri to filter the data, imagine for example a filter for BU, and use the same interfaces to create 2 diferrent report, one visible only to the CAR group, in this case the value of the ri!BU will be CAR, and another one visible only to the MOTO group, in this case ri!BU will be MOTO.

But now that the report tab has been disappeared how can we do this, i know that we can do using a local, evaluate if the loggedInUser is the member of one group or of another and evaluate the value of this local depending on this rule, but:

1- it is more difficult than the previous method with the 7.11
2-the old sail report that we have designed now doesn't work
