Do you have a similar use case to linking to parent/children processes?

In the sub-process, you can now use a web content w/dynamic data channel with the following expression:

linktoprocessdashboardinternal(parent_process_id(),"sampleText")

This will link to the parent of the Sub.

Ok I tried that it works, but i'm not sure they will like it. So they click on the link in the task report and then it goes to the sub-process dashboard and from there they have to click on the link so that it display the main process information. Is this the only way? (I can send you screenshots if needed on what i'm looking for)
