Hi,
I want the user to be notified by a custom alert when certain action is completed in the backend. Since this "action" takes a long time, i do not want the user to be stuck n the UI page for long. Hence, i will inform the user that your request is being processed and you will get a report/alert as soon as it is done.
I came across Notification service. But does provide pointers on how to use it.
Thanks...

Hi,
You can keep the action, that going to take a long time in a subprocess, and can call it from the main process by selecting asynchronous option. In the subprocess, after that action node, u can connect to send alert node, which would send the alert when the action completes. Let me know if you are trying to achieve this.
