I have a pie chart which is included in a dashboard. It is targetted to a group say "group1". Now i have a basic user (who belongs to this "group1").
When i login to the app, in the dashborad i am not able to see the report. It says "You do not have access to view this report". Is there any specific permission in terms of reports to be given here???

Does other channels on that Page appear to the basic user ? You may have to check if any other access restrictions are set a Page level .. Actions -> Page Sharing , and then add the basic user to appropriate groups

Where is this report located? Is it in a subfolder under System Knowledge Centre or is it located elsewhere in a custom KC? If it is the latter, then you will have to explicitly give access to the group to the KC and the folder in which the report is located.

Oh ya... Akhilan, the report is not under my reports. It is a customised location that we have used. Let me check this. I think this is the problm.

Akhilan, the report is located under a custom KC. But the group under which the user exists already has got the permission as editors of the KC. But I still found the same message in the apps.

the context (process model used for report) may not contain this user in security

Is the report located directly under the KC or within a subfolder in the KC? If there is a subfolder that also requires access to be set up.

Yeah.. Got it woked. :) thank you.. both the approach lead me to the solution. Needed to give access in the folders and also add the group in process models security.
