How can i check if a given user belongs to a particular Group inside report. I have a PV of type User containing user, i want to check if it is part of a given group or not. I do not see any User related functions in Report. Please suggest.
Thanks....

According to the documentation, scripting functions and looping functions are "not available for Portal reports or events". isusermemberofgroup() is a scripting function.

Another option is to alter the security of your process instances. In your models, if you add or remove groups from accessing an instance, then the reports will only show the instances (rows) that they have permission to see. Hope this helps!

Thanks Chris, but i can not apply that strategy as multiple groups have access to Process and Use may be in one or more groups.

getgroupsformemberuser()---- Returns a list of all groups that a given user is a member of.
using this function you can check whether the provided user belongs to the group you are looking for.
