Hi,
I am getting an boolean output while testing the expression rule as per the requirement, however when I am trying to display this boolean value in a portal report by calling this expression rule, its not displaying any values in the report.
Please advice.
Thank You...

If you wrap your expression as follows in the expression rule editor what is the output? typename(typeof(rule!yourExpression))
What have you selected for the "Formatting" drop down when defining your report column?

Are you grouping by any column in this report?

Navajith, please check the Report Performance Details by clicking on the top right hand corner of the report (clock icon). There might be a reason as to why this column is not evaluating. You could be using Appian Scripting Functions which can not be used in reports:

Alternatively, you may be using a complex nested expression which could be timing out and not scalable for use in a report.

Michael, the report performance says "Generated in 0.095 seconds".
Iam using the functions such as "Joinarray", "extract","contains" and "tointeger" in this rule.
Any thoughts???

You should have more information below that. There should be a row for the name of your column which should have details about that column.
Also, it will help if you provide the full expression, but based on the functions you have provided It sounds like a fairly complex expression which should be handled in process rather than in the report.

Hi, Query rules can not be used in report directly. If you want the query rule result, create a Process Variable which holds the query rule result and then use that in report.
