We seem to be running into a performance issue in Tempo reports. We have a report that if you look in an expression editor has over 25k characters in the code. It is retrieving a grand total of 171 records. The table it is retrieving from has about 40+ data points. The report we are running contains approximately 6 charts and 20 grids with each grid having about 8 columns. Bottom line the performance of loading these reports are horrible. It takes approximately 13-15 secs to load. We are in the cloud. Any advice on improving performance. ...

Are you returning all the values back from your query rule? Can you filter out the data that is not immediately related to your current Tempo Record. For example, instead of a report called Appian, I can have two reports called Professional Services and Engineering. This would also reduce the number of records that are returned.

can you consider creating a new CDT with limited fields pointing to the same database table, then use query rule on this new CDT. Also consider creating a database View instead of using raw data from tables.
