Hi all,
I'm using a paging grid in my report.
Also, I'm filtering the results by values entered in the search box.
It works fine when the results are shown in the grid without any paging.
If I use paging by setting the batchsize and move to the 2nd section of page, it throws an error.
Eg: If I have 100 rows, it works fine when all the 100 are shown in the grid.
If I set the paging size to 25, then it works as expected when it is in the range 1-25.
When it moves to 25-50,51-75 and 76-100 and I search with some criteria it throws the following error:
A grid component [label=“”] has an invalid value for “value” and “totalCount”. “startIndex” must not be greater than “totalCount”.
Please provide your inputs....

In the case where you aren't on the first page, the startIndex property of your paging info is becoming greater than the size of your sorted results.
To fix this, on the saveInto of your searchbox, reset the start index.
EG
saveInto:{mySearchField,
myPaging.startIndex<<rule!APN_returnFirstInput(1,_)
}
