I have a requirement to create custom dashboard for a process

I have a requirement to create custom dashboard for a process; and the dashboard should have a channel which display current task for a process, I will many processes running. By clicking a process on Process Model dashboard that will take you to process instance dashboard and I need to display current task for that process instance so user can start processing.

While creating the report, I chose report type to be Task, then Task by Process, however for report context I am being to pick an instance of my Process Model. Any way to get current task of process?

When you are creating the report, you need to choose a context (process instance) because base data is needed in order to be able to configure the columns. Once you put the report of a dashboard, you should have the option to use the dashboard context during channel configuration. Choosing the report context during design should not be permanent.
