A question about a column definition in a portal report.

When I define a portal report column named Test as =fn!choose(1,9,6) or as choose(1,9,6) and run the report, all values in the Test column are blank. The same happens when I define Test column using a rule containing choose function.

Are there any limitation on what functions a column definition can contain? When I define a column using a rule, can the rule definition have local variables?

The Looping Functions, Scripting Functions, Evaluation Functions can't be used on Portal Reports. Please review the following documentation: forum.appian.com/.../Appian_Functions.html. You can't use local variables because it requires using the load() function which is part of the Evaluation Functions.

Thanks Cesar, this helps a lot. Choose function is categorized as logical function. Should choose work?
