Hi Team,
I am have expression rule where I call getPortalReportDataSubset. This expression rule is used in a SAIL form and I invoke this sail for m from a process model.
When I run this model as admin user getPortalReportDataSubset is returning me data whereas if I run as basic user the getPortalReportDataSubset is not returning me any data. What is the security or configuration setting I should do so that for basic user also this getPortalReportDataSubset returns me data.
Regards,
Madhankumar. B

For portal report can we set security? Also for expression rule I have set Administrator security setting for basic user. I have set for rule alone do we need to set this administrator for the folder it belongs and parent folder of that .........

it is not required for portal report. it is not required to set security for folder as administrator unless folder security is overriding the rule security

Make sure the viewer access is provided in the parent community of your application where the reports are stored and also to parent folder of rules.

I hope it is a process instance report, if yes then please check the security on the process instance for the basic user.

The issue should be with the process instance security, may be you would have used modify process security in your process where the basic user doesn't have viewer rights to that instance

Thanks aayusha and jaisym, this solves my problem, but problem is we have around 3000 process instances, how about setting security for these 3000 instances. It is really tedious any quicker method where we can update security for existing instances

@Madhan,
1. Add the modify security smart node in your Process model and publish it.
2. Use Process Upgrade plugin to update all the process instances. Here is the link to download
https://forum.appian.com/suite/tempo/#!/records/type/components/item/i8BWsQdLlzKy55h8z8zJ0sPqpDWFrba_bpd0Wkk2Iv_1yPVnikqr2lqkWETlGCS3Q/view/summary
Please note the process instances will not get upgrade if there is any discrepancy with the CDT versions.
