Has anyone implemented SLA type reporting in Appian?

Has anyone implemented SLA type reporting in Appian? What was your approach to knowing if your process was on track to meeting SLA requirements?

Did you just use the total task or process time? Did you give the ability to pauses tasks/processes to only take into account actual working time on the process or when you were waiting on information from a 3rd party?

How did you leverage deadlines/priority/escalations?
