Does appian keep a log of email notifications that are sent out anywhere?

I'm not sure what specifically your'e referring to. The first link has performance logs but they don't include any actual trail of what has transpired. The second only reference the performance logs from the first and the server log doesn't contain any notification logs (it was the first place I checked).

Am I misreading one of the links?

Server Created a log file in "APPIAN_HOME/logs/perflogs" folder

to see the Email notifications ,you find the file named "perf_monitor_db_NE1.csv" in the above folder

Thanks for the comment Vinayr however that file only contains performance data for the notification engine and doesn't contain any actual notification log.
