Fetch details using SP from oracle DB

Hi,
I have a requirement that I need to query DB from appian UI (fn!executeStoredProcedure) on a table to display in a chart and when each part of chart is clicked the related details are to be fetched from different tables based on selection.
1. I need the data returned from SP in a single text (all rows of data) - suggest if take be taken without declaring any OUT parameter as its just a select from one table - like we do in MySQL
2. Should we write a queryEntity for parts of chart when clicked separately or all to be fetched from same SP for performance.
Thanks for your inputs...

1. You have to declare a parameter in output to fetch all the data.So that you can store the data in it.
2. Query entity can do. I think having lot to fetch at load time can have some effects on performance of report.
Please let me know if you have any further doubts.
