Chart Tooltip Formatting

Can tooltips in charts be formatted? I would like to add comma separators and a dollar sign to make the attached chart tooltips more readable.

I agree with you, seem's to be we can't format the tool tip data, I've tried using hard coded values something like $50,$60.. but tool tip is showing only 50,60...
