Hi Alok, I created an expression rule with a!startProcess and on its "onSuccess" attribute the output of process is stored in a variable. I am able to successfully call it on tempo report.
Web API can be bypassed and we can directly use this. Code snippet attached.

I tried the same approach but couldn't get the value from the process. I even tried hard coding the value(200) that did not work either.

Any thoughts ?

Have you activity chained all the nodes in the process model?

Yes, activity chaining made the difference.
