  • RWM, or Robotic Workforce Manager is an application that Appian provides to Appian RPA customers. RWM is specifically built to help organizations scale, govern, and manage their enterprise automation initiatives. The Robotic Workforce Manager is made of two components: Control Center and Automation Planner.

Automation Planner is designed to help companies set up an automation Center of Excellence (COE). It provides capabilities to manage activities performed by the automation COE and helps scale and govern automation initiatives. Companies can manage the entire process starting from submitting an automation request to managing the approval process and tracking the ROI after the automation is in production. It has an effective governance framework built-in so you can prioritize the use cases that will generate the most ROI/Business impact and use the right tool for the right type of automation.

Control Center allows organizations to track and monitor KPIs of their robotic workforce like average processing time, top exceptions, utilization, and many others. Control center is also designed to provide more self-service to the business users so they can start or schedule their robotic processes.
