I am working on Integration with Appian to RPA Bot by using Execute Robotic Process Smart Service but it is working not with Activity Chaining in process model.
There is another flow in my process model which needs to be executed after the first flow but Appian doesn't allow Activity Chaining in Execute Robotic Process smart service.
I have attached screenshot of the Process Model in which first flow is validation and second one is submit. For Integration i need to remove activity chaining before the Execute Robotic Process Smart service,
due to this second flow doesn't work/execute.
Can anyone suggest solution for this.

My thoughts - Appian doesn't allow activity chaining because Robotic processes are asynchronous & can take more time to execute the process(It has a retry option as well) which may exceed the non-configurable time limit of 10 minutes as stated by Appian here. here https://docs.appian.com/suite/help/21.2/Process_Model_Recipes.html#breaking-a-chain
Hence activity chaining might not be applicable over this node. If your flow needs to continue with activity chaining, then I would suggest having this Execute robotic process node inside a sub-process and call that in the main process asynchronously with activity chaining.
And your validate path will fail anyway, as you have the timer event in the path.
