There's an action under the File System module docs.appian.com/.../file-management-module.html
Thanks a lot for the response , Danny. My question now is if we could download RPA agent into this path(folder) ? or must the agent only be downloaded on our physical resource alone ?
That's not really possible because the agent has to be downloaded onto the agent before any robotic process can even be run on it. Using another tool such as Amazon Lambda or your local machine you should SCP and send the agent download the virtual machine. As of right now, agents must be downloaded manually, there is not way to programmatically download an agent.
That field there just shows the version of java on the connected resource. On your virtual machine you can set your version of Java. We support Java 8 and Java 11
Thanks , but the question is how to set the version because the field is disabled
I am talking about the virtual resource whose screenshot i sent. Everything is perfectly configured on my local machine (Physical resource)
You don't set the version, when the agent is online on the virtual machine that field will display the Java version of the Resource (Virtual Machine). The Resource you created is nothing more than a reference to the virtual machine the agent will run on but you must first run the agent to set it online
I got that part: Thanks a lot Danny. Something is still not clear. The Agent is downloaded on my pc (Physical resource) , is there a way to also host it on the virtual resource. For example, to make it possible test my RPA through any other PC ?
Yes, just log into the RPA console on your virtual resource and download another agent
Hi Danny, hope u had a wonderful weekend. Just to clear this doubt finally, it means the Agent must be downloaded on every Physical resource to be used, not way to host it virtually?
Correct, you must manually create a Resource in the RPA console for each VM you have and then you must download that agent to your VMs
Thank you
