Hello,
We are setting up Appian RPA and have created a robot virtual server and we are able to run our Appian RPA process from the server when we have it open.
We are currently connecting to the server using a service account and Remote Desktop Protocol.
When we connect to the server using a service account but then close down the connection(RDP) the account is still logged in which is what we want. However, when we try to run an Appian RPA process on the server the screen is locked. The same thing happens when we connect to the server using RDP and then minimize the window. It says the screen is locked or the robot can't see the desktop. The thing we noticed about this is that the status is Blocked when this happens.
How can we set up the server to have an account logged in and then accept messages from Appian RPA and run a process without the screen being locked or minimized?
Thanks,
Anthony

Hi,
Are your resource agent is started with admin user in the VM. If not then try to start the agent with admin user and then see.
