The new Appian Community launches August 3, followed by Appian Academy on August 7. RPA process cant scan Drop down components from appian and ends the process when it comes to drop down, it takes id as a random number when i gave recorder by interacting with dropdown,
So what i was trying to do is create rpa process to automatically login into my appian designer and create an interface, so when i try to press new which is a drop down the interaction is not being performed

The IDs may change upon each new execution and loading of that page. You could try using Image Recognition to scan for the "Interface" link within the dropdown.
Another suggestion is using xpath values instead of IDs
