Hi
We recently encountered the following alert in the Operations Console:“You have robot(s) using an outdated auto-login service. Please reinstall the robot(s) to avoid disruptions. The outdated version will be unsupported in a future release.”
However, we have already updated to the latest versions:
Has anyone else faced this issue, and if so, what steps were taken to resolve it? Any insights would be greatly appreciated.
or agent re installation will work?
Thank you!

Hi SRM , just to double check, Have you uninstalled the current Agent (executing the uninstaller.exe placed in the same folder than the Agent), and have installed a new one? That should be enough. Please let us know if this works. Thanks.
Hi Miguelangel ,
Before uninstalling, I removed the Appian RPA folder and the older .exe file and others related to agent. After cleaning everything, I installed the new agent only. I will reinstall it again today. If the same alert appears, can we ignore it?
.exe
It's better to execute the uninstaller.exe to ensure the Agent is removed properly rather than just remove the RPA folder. The banner should disappear if you have cleaned properly the old Agent and have a brand-new Robot in the Op. Console. If the banner remains, it only means that your Auto-Login service in the Agent will not automatically update in future versions. The ideal is to have the latest version to be automatically updated so you get the latest patches, but if you don't have it, this is not critical for now. You will always could manually download a new Agent with a new Auto-Login service in the latest version.
ok , thank you
