a!safeLink Behavior

Question

Hi all, 
 We are on 17.1 cloud. In one of the rule, we have used a SafeLink component. Now if is throwing an error when particular link is provided. Below is the detail. 
 
 Sample Rule: 
 a!safeLink( label: "This is a test", uri: " www.samplesite/link-that-ends-with:" ) 
 Error: key must not end with : for a put operation 
 
 Is this expected bahvior? We have several links (Mostly google docs links), where such link format is used.

In that case, while setting the value for safeLink, you can check whether the value contain "/" as it&#x27;s last character or not, if not then try appending "/" at the end to the link uri, so in this way you can avoid changing the links in db manually

I ran into this issue as well. Adding "https://" to the front of the url should resolve this problem.

Did you hit it directly on your browser, I think it should have a port number after colon. like: 1. https:// www.samplesite/link-that-ends-with: 40 2. http:// www.samplesite/link-that-ends-with: 50 
 A url can not be end with colon
