is it possible to put the below expression in query rule where condition?

month(EMP_HIRE_DATE) &"-"& year(EMP_HIRE_DATE)=year(now()) & month(now())-1

I want to pull the data from the database based on hiredate, those who joined on 201603(year and month).

My query already checks for a certain month and year. You removed one of the filters.
