On a process instance dashboard within a web content with dynamic data channel, I am unable to use the "onClick" attribute of the HTML href tag. What appears to happen is that the page refreshes and redirects me to the first tab of the application. How can I enable the onClick functionality to be used through a URL link on a process instance dashboard? I am trying to have a clickable link to a quick task that when clicked the quick task pops out into a new window, and the pop up window self closes on submit of that quick task....

I have been using the better links to quick tasks plugin, but that option is disabled in the code because of bug AN-41963. I am guessing that bug has something to do with the inability to close the window on submit. I've even tried creating a URL similiar to what is available on a task report, no luck there.
