using validation group in sub-expressions

Hi, how validation group will work in sub-expression levels. lets say i have a main expression (form layout) with few buttons and also i have a section defined in another expression and used the same in the main expression. Now if i use validation group from main expression in the sub to validate the section, what would be the behavior of validation group in such cases?
