Displaying Text and Images in the same Non-Editable Grid Column

Hi Everyone, 
 
 Like the title says I'm wondering if there is any sort of workaround where you could display text and images in the same grid column. Essentially, I need to combine a a!gridTextColumn() and a a!gridImageColumn(). I know this is possible for editable grids, but is there any way to do this for non-editable grids? An example image is provided below. 
 
 My one thought is I could make the text into a document image and use the a!gridImageColumn, but I can't think of any other way to achieve this.

You can use unicode characters with a!gridTextColumn() as a workaround. Here's an example:
