FileUpload Strange Behavior

Question

I am trying to add an upload document component using the code below

but in the user interface i am seeing a strange behavior . it is not uploading the document but it always stays in "Scanning for viruses "

Can anyone help me why am i getting this ? 
 
 I am using Chrome browser and we are in Appian 17.2

What is in the variable local!doc? Are you sure it's resolving to a valid folder ID? As a temporary check, try replacing the target: value with a rule input of type Folder which you manually set to a particular folder. I'm not sure whether this is the root of your issue, but it would be good to rule out.

Did you try storing the target value in a rule input? I did the same and it works for me in chrome but I am currently working on 17.1 version
