Custom Picker Component search results return whole dictionary of object

Question

Hi all, we're having issues with the custom picker component. For some reason it returns a dictionary of the object when typing into the text field. 
 Is there a way to just show a certain attribute of the returned dictionary when searching? 
 Upon selecting a suggested search result, the correct label is shown in the picker component, only when typing into the component is the whole dictionary returned.

Hi Morne, 
 
You might not passing the proper indexed array of name field to the supporting rule "ucArrayPickerFilter" in the suggested function parameter of a!pickerFieldCustom() function instead you are passing the entire CDT or dataset. So, when we search the filtered string it is trying to search from the entire data dictionary instead of specific field array say "name". Use index function for the entire dataset for passing the name field array and it should start working as expected.

Hi Morne, 
 
In Supporting rule for "suggestFunction". Return Data Subset and in "data" parameter pass that field which corresponds to display labels in the suggestions. 
 
For Eg. "suggestFunction" is returning datasubset as per above screenshot but pass local!data.name in "data" parameter and it will display only names like Bob, Michael in the list.
