Mask error alerts to end users

Hi there!

Does Anyone know if it's possible to mask errors in production environments using Appian? I reckon end-users do not have to know the complete trace of an error. To report issues, probably, showing a friendly message to users is enough. Developers could search for errors in logs using date&time reported by the users. Are there any options in Appian to configure this? Do you have any idea or work around to achieve it?

Many thanks in advanced.

Regards!

  • Hi ravalik,

Thanks for your quickly response. I reviewed this links before. First one talk about notifications by email and second one explains how to configure Appian Alerts that appears in the Alert menu (top right link in Designer using 18.1).

I can't find any reference in them explaining how to configure pop-up alerts that Appian shows when an error is produced in a SAIL interface. Do you know if it's possible to show a "friendly" message to end-users in that case?

    Regards.
