Feature Request: Missing Precedents checker should automatically sort by Last Modified

Certified Lead Developer

Every single time I've ever opened the Missing Precedents checker, my use case has required me to double-click the "Last Modified" column to resort the list to show most recently updated objects first.  I can't think of a single case in which I'd want the list to sort by object name (at least by default).

(I was hoping this would eventually be introduced anyway as more people use it, but I'm starting to lose hope that anyone's paying attention to quality-of-life issues like this, which seem like an easy addition.)

  • Hey Mike, we did notice this and I agree that sorting it by the Last Modified column by default would be the most useful. We've made this change, and it'll be in our 19.1 release.

We definitely do pay attention to quality-of-life enhancements, since we know they often make big differences in the day-to-day of our users. We always leave room to work on them in-between our main features. The effort is ongoing!
