Hi all,
I'm having an issue with displaying paging grids in 7.2. I get an Access Denied error when trying to view the form. I've checked the conf.suite.SERVER_AND_PORT in the custom.properties file and it is as expected. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance....

Hi,
Can you check if the user who is viewing the form has access to the datastore against which the query rule is being executed?

Are you populating the paging grid using a query rule? If so, what happens if you create a temporary expression rule in the expression rule editor and try to execute that query rule there?
For clarification, can you view the form in question if the paging grid is removed? How about a different form with a new paging grid added and populated with dummy data?

Access Denied could probably means that you don't have access to run the process instance. Can you try to check the process security to see if you or your groups is listed there with at least viewer rights?

Caroline, one more thing to check. Can you take a look at this screenshot
forum.appian.com/.../109099
where I reproduce your issue and triple check whether my scenario matches yours? The screenshot explains the root cause and the solution: a subtle or major difference between the URL you are using to access through the browser and these settings in <APPIAN_HOME>\\runtime_ear|ear\\suite.ear\\conf\\custom.properties
conf.suite.SCHEME=
conf.suite.SERVER_AND_PORT=

Hi guys, thank you very much for your help. We found that http wasn't redirecting to https, now that that has been fixed we can access the paging grids.
