Issue regarding Export CDT TO EXCEL SMART SERVICE

I recommend you to use the OOTB functionality to do the same. If you don’t do it you might be in the situation that you need to refactor it later.

The only downside of the OOTB functionality is that you'd need to write the CDT information to a Data Store first to then be able to export it - which seems a bit of an overhead. However the functionality in the various plug ins for exporting CDT data to Excel have been deprecated - presumably for good reasons but it would be good to see an OOTB function / Smart Service provided to offer the same functionality.
