In my form I have a section with 4 columns, in one of the column I have 2 text field and one dropdown. The title of the text field are on top of the field but the dropdown title is next to it. I set the Default Field Label Position so that the label is above the entry. But that is not working. (we are on Appian 6.6.0) any ideas why the field label position won't work?...

Was the dropdown added to the form before setting the default? You can always manually set the label position on each form element.

Yes the dropdown was added before setting the label position to be above. How do I manually set the label position? :)

You can click in the field, and the label position should be one of the options on the left.

oups I didn't see it before in the field itself (must have tired eyes.. lol) Is there a reason why the "section" didn't take that setting? (does it have priority over the field or is the field priority over the section and then the form?)

The section default only affects what position is set when you add a new field. You can always change the label position on the fields, and the default won't override them.
