Hi All,
i have an application working, now i have to add an extra column into the application Interface which has to be added into DB,
i created an column in DB, also added an Column in CDT which am using, verified and published it, now when i go to my Application Interfaces , they give error saying "error 'Cannot Retrieve Data from MyCDT'",
please help on what am missing here

Have you configure the column config on CDT, can you please download the XSD and check, if mapping is present.
Also is MyCDT is the queryEntiity rule?

check DB column type and CDT column type Boath are same type or not?
Can you please the verify cdt variable, it will show ^ at cdt variable type, if it's displaying the cap please re-map the cdt type?
This problem is raised because you have opened the interfaces/rules while updating the cdt. Please close the interface, rules, and processes in which the updated cdt has the dependency.

When you say interface throws error can you be more specific on whether this error is happening on the query entity or rule input or any other function inside the interface. usually retrieval error will happen on query entity . can you confirm where exactly this happens?

Please execute the issue and paste here the exception that you find on the logs and that will give a good orientation on where the issue is

If the data is Date and/or Time related and the data is in the database is not nullable and contains a value like "0000-00-00" then Appian does not like this (I've encountered this a few times and every time it takes me a while to remember this as the error message is non-specific)
yes Syed, the error is coming in one of the Expression Rule called inside an interface, which inturn has query entity
this issue is coming , when i add a extra column in CDT and Database of the type number
