I am using a grid (editable and user can add row) in the form. I want a default read only column in the grid display # (serial number) so that user can know how many rows one has entered. The issue I am facing is how to increment the number so that it should display 1,2,3 likewise?
I hope my question is clear.

I think, there is no straight forward function to achieve yours.

You may dynamically update grid cell value by using JS/jQuery
