I have specified an Alt Value for a Link form component on a 7.2 Tempo form. When I mouse over the link in a web browser, the alt text does not display. Upon examining the HTML source, I've noticed that the anchor tag does not contain an "alt" attribute (which was never in the HTML spec) or a "title" attribute (which is the new standard). Also, the link icon contains alt text but it isn't useful (it says "Link icon") and it doesn't display when I move the mouse over the image. Are these known defects?...

Linda, thank you for your feedback on the product. The alt text is currently not compatible with the Tempo forms. The reference number for this to become available in a future release is AN-51786.

In the meantime, although not precisely the same, you can provide any necessary message in the "Label" attribute of the Link Component when configuring it in the Forms Designer.
