We are currently writing an array to a table which but when pulling this back down to variable it is returning it as one string and not an array.

Is there a way around this?...

If you are writing an array to an array of strings, use touniformstring() to preserve the original list.

Make sure that the variable/acp that you are saving the query rule output to has the "multiple" checkbox checked.
