I have a requirement where i need to create a dropdown field in tempo enabled form.User should be able to type in the dropdown and related options should appear so that user can select any of those.This is a kind of running search.How can i achieve this?Please note i need it in the tempo enabled form so i can not use javascript or any event rule....

These are called 'pickers' in Appian. There are few Appian components that have this functionality OOTB such as document picker, people/group picker etc., If your logic is to select from any of these, you can use OOTB component. Generic picker components are currently not available.
