HI,
Can you please let me know what version of Appian are you using now?
Thanks
We are using Appian 19.2
Can you please share the sample code snippet, for me its not working any way i try
What is the type for the variable where you store the value entered in the text field? Integers in Appian are limited to 2,147,483,647, so if you enter a value higher than that number, it will display $N/A in your text field. However, if your variable is defined using a decimal or text, it should display correctly with the dollar function.
Then please use a decimal or a text field and match the rule input to the same. it should solve the problem.
Thanks,
Abishek.
Hi Peter, I tried that , the value is coming as
Hello,
With text also if the number of characters are exceeding 12 /13 then it wont work properly.
You can use as below. Here the dollar function is for just adding the symbol before the text and the whole number we ca take as text (but not inside dollar function)-
a!textField( value:dollar()&"9999999999999999999999999999999999")
Can you confirm the type of the variable you stored the number value in?
a!textField( label: "Revenue at risk (US$)", labelPosition: "ABOVE", value: if( rule!GLB_isBlank( index( ri!PF_Request, "RevenueAtRisk", null ) ), null, fn!dollar()& index( ri!PF_Request, "RevenueAtRisk", null ),
this is the code I have written, please let me know what is the mistake
I tried Text Field, Integer Field, Floating Field, Fixed, Text and Dollar()@"9999999999999999" is also not working
