It would be really useful to be able to link to a Record Type directly. Would be even better if we could just embed in an interface via a rule. It would be particularly useful when using the following pattern: https://docs.appian.com/suite/help/19.4/icon-navigation-pattern.html
Only alternatives I can see at the moment:

The real shame here is that it would (seemingly) be a super easy tweak to a!recordLink() to make it open the Record Type listing, when a record type is given and a NULL (or maybe even a nonexistent/invalid) Identifier is passed. Instead it just goes to the top-level Records list just as if no Record Type was passed in.
Thank you both for the feedback. This very common use case is one we're actively addressing and targeting for a future release.
Great, thanks for confirming.
Hello,Has this feature been released yet?Thank you,
The ability to show a record list in any UI was released in 20.3 as a grid capability. You can make a grid show data directly from a record type and add any user filters, record actions, etc to make it have the same functionality as the main record list or tweak which elements are shown if that's what you need. This supports the original request to incorporate record UIs in custom navigation patterns like the linked one.

The link capabilities mentioned in this thread are under discussion and not released.
